At LOTAR International, our teachings are derived from the original LOTAR/Kapap system, but are not restricted to the art. This is because we believe that for an art to be the most effective, it must continue to evolve. Chief instructor at LOTAR International, Brian Rauchbach, has 16 years of operational experience in the professional security-contracting arena. While working in many international theaters of operation, Mr. Rauchbach worked with and was trained by many of the top operators from the most elite Counter Terror units in the world. While maintaining the LOTAR/Kapap system as its foundation, Mr. Rauchbach has also integrated the many different styles of Close Quarter Combat that he utilized during this time, adding to the effectiveness of the system. Other instructors at LOTAR International have been, or are currently involved in international personal protection, local law enforcement, Army Rangers, U.S. Navy SEALS and other U.S. special operations groups. Collaborating together they have modified and enhanced the defensive tactics within the LOTAR system so that they are the most useful and effective within the market at this time. The system is truly designed for real world self defense and security based operations.
